What’s Your View About Bboying: My view about bboying...hmm I feel bboying is dying slowly..breakdancing is taking over. now ima explain, the true art of bboying is knowing where u came from and to be different and to always rock the floor..nowadays you have these kids jumping around on they hands, practicing at jams, and not even dancing (on beat) they forget its a dance. kids go out there (pre recorded) calling them SETS its ok to have them but learn how to react to music also...find the pattern in the beat and dance to it! but thats my view

How Old Are You: 42 ...I guess you can consider me "old school"
Where Are You From: Worcester, Ma.
Why Did You Get Into Djing:I was already into b boying......but when I
heard "adventures on the wheels of steel" by Grand Master Flash, I knew
that I wanted to be a D.J.
How Long You Been Djing: Since 1984......so 23 years.
What’s Your View About Djing: The same as the other elements of hip
hop......it's about knowledge, skills & originality.....adding your own
flavor.
Who Do You Look Up To In The Hip Hop Culture: The originators of course......and anyone who continues to keep true hip hop alive in a world of so many that try to use hip hop as a means to gain money & fame. Hip hop
means a lot more than that to very many of us.
Explain To Us About Your Styles: That's kind of difficult because I consider myself very versatile. I will say that whatever genre of music it is that I may be spinning, I tend to be very techincal & on point. I have found that hip hop in it's purest form seems to be more alive in the b boy world than anywhere else.....which is why i've been so involved for the last couple of years. My style is old school....technical.....& all over
the place.
What Other Things Do You Do Besides Djing: I'm also a record
collector.....so still digging for old records, Raising my daughter, & and rock real
old school hip hop radio show on XM 65 The Rhyme. Also working for NEW B WEAR N.B.W., inc as one of there other Official DJ as well for show mixess and chilling with the Family & team NBW ALLSTARS.
Why Did You Get Into Popping:It looked like a lot of fun to me, and I enjoy the music.
How Long You Been Dancing:5 ½ years ( since I was 5 years old )
What’s Your View About Dancing:I love popping, its my favorite style of dance.
Who Do You Look Up To In The Hip Hop Culture: I look up to everyone who is positive in the hip hop culture. I also look up to all of my teachers and mentors who have helped me along the way.
Explain To Us About Your Styles: The different styles I do are hitting, waving, tutting, cobra, strobing, boogaloo, and always making sure that they are on beat with the music. I may be small but not on the dance floor!
What Other Things Do You Do Besides: Other styles of dance that I do are Krumpin, Tap (hoofing), Hip Hop, Breakin, and Contemporary. Other things I enjoy besides dancing are drawing, skateboarding, and video games. I am also still in school currently in the 5th grade. I also work with CrazyFreddy & Comapny NBW ALLSTARS dance team.

BBOYS In This New Video Are
(Step2, Zboy-Pop, Flight, Xcel)
What’s Your Name: Alfredo Rivera Jr
What’s Your Bboy Name:NewBorne aka CrazyFreddy
How Old Are You: Do not have an age anymore
Where Are You From: Boston Mass,
Why Did You Get Into Bboying: I got into bboying....as a young kid in the 70s, Because of my friend that I wanted to be like. And his name was AIRBORNE, That is how I got my BBOY name NEWBORNE, was from him, Then in do time I met another DANCER, he was not just a BBOY but just a kat with a crazy STYLE that was different, back then, his name was Vinnie aka VINCNZO at the age of 13, I met him on a TV show in the mornings call RTG, Wowwww, from there the friend ship we biuld just went up, so I look up to him and took some of his style then added with my flips and BBOYIN' so my look and style was crazy. And then from there he was the first guy who opened my eyes to the CLUB scene lifestyle, where
I met Shallow and MegaTron, and a BBOY group call floor lords back in 84, that is when Cisco the Leader at that time for a few years, Would call me from time to time, to come to some shows with them because I did have a style that was different to his eyes., And them were my illest times in my life rocking hard, meeting so many dancers of all styles it was crazy cool to meet so many people, Then FREESTYLE music hit big, so that is another style that was crazy, but added a little bit of BBOYIN' but not to much. Then HOUSE music came around and that right there just gave me even more flava, to be more flexible with my body, so different then others, WOW!! so much I have done in my life. I can keep going on and on its to much info!
How Long You Been Dancing: I can say from the age of 6, cause my own mom told me that I was already doing hand stands and head stands, not on the BBOY level yet, but that was a part of this that helps you in do time for what to come with dancing, for blacning. And flips on really bad and old Mattress in the projects of Columbia Point, that is where I gruop up. So I been there and done all of that. And much more in my life,
What’s Your View About Bboying: My view about bboying...hmm I feel bboying is dying slowly..and that is because of how we are just making it big, but then kats are just selling them selfs to what ever job is there that is paying. And I think that is how we first died out in BBOYIN' cause, see its good to want to make money. But then you must think of your self and 1000's of others, that do not want you to self your sell out,. As for events really cool, BUT the thing with that is thet jams are not being fun or open to real battles. Not for the money I am talking about what makes your SKILLZ better is by calling kats out and also just opening up CYPHERS!!! That is why I think jams are dieding out and its sad to see.
Who Do You Look Up To In The Hip Hop Culture: I look up to my self, Cause i have help out so many BBOY's in Boston, Then I look up to, all the OGs out there in the world that I have met in my pass few years, and hope to meet many more, and kats like Act1, Shame, Cieco from the old sckool Floor Lords, Float, Zboy-Pop, Dj Bruno, And many others that I can just keep going on and on......
Explain To Us About Your Styles: My style is more on the LEVEL of freestyle with some old style with new style of tops then anything else,
When I was in my young years, I had a little bit of everything, so I can just rock and just rep what ever comes to me right then and there.
What Other Things Do You Do Besides Bboy: I am a OWER to a cool underground clothing line, call NEW B WEAR NBW Inc,
Been doing that now for 7 years now, and hope that I can keep it up, cause I what i do is magner a team that me and my partner came up with call NBW ALLSTARS, and what that does is help them guys who are trying to take there selfs to the next LEVEL on making money. And also to teach them what they need to know so that they can more on in there own LIFE to keep the Hip Hop movement to help young kats.
